Linda Hinkle is an experienced Marcom professional with three decades of experience, a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and an MBA in Marketing. She has worked on both the agency and the client side of the table writing a variety of marketing material, ranging from web copy to brochures, advertisements, books, press releases, video scripts, feature articles and speeches. Linda is also an excellent editor and proofreader, and just loves to make sure that every sentence is grammatically correct, the copy engages the reader and unnecessary words are tossed in the trash can. Why? Because extra words are ineffective, and that’s the point of good writing—to be effective. In addition to loving everything about words, when she’s not reading, writing or editing, she’s spending time with her six-year-old beagle, Dylan. He sniffs everything, but when it comes to editing, he’s pretty much useless.
