Branding is everything!

No matter whether you are just getting started in business or have been in business for years, your brand is vital.

A Brand is more than a logo or a catchy tagline. A business that wants to grow and succeed must create brand recognition that is more than just recognizable images. Your brand must convey a message that is clear and consistent in every way. Creating your brand is important. It’s the essence of who you are, what your business represents and how you want the world to see you.

When we talk about “Brand” most people think in terms of logo, colors, slogans, and marketing materials. That’s all part of branding for sure but the why behind all those choices is what branding is really about.

Everything in the world is fueled by something. Cars run on gas; people need food, air, and water to fuel the body. Companies are living, breathing things. You need to know what fuels your company. That’s the real essence of a brand and, to truly succeed, that brand needs to carry through in everything you do. It’s important that you permanently establish your brand’s attributes; what you stand for; your core values.

Your brand should reflect your soul, core, and essence – build a brand that resonates.

Brand Personality 

What is it about your brand that conveys trust, competency, and quality? When a person chooses your company, they are trusting you.

Define these things:

What you will give them?
– Trustworthiness, Reliability, High-quality, Simply the Best!
Why they will enjoy it?
– Safety, Elegance, Beauty, Notoriety, Joy, Health, Financial Gain

These are some ideas, you need to find your own words that convey your business values.

Logos and Slogans

What does your logo say about the company you want to build? Why those colors? Your slogan should be more than just some clever phrase. People are smarter than that. Tell them what kind of business you represent. Show them your heart and your pride in what you do, and they will flock to you. A slogan is something catchy people will remember, but your mission statement is the real meat of your branding. Make sure you reflect that in any text or slogan you use.

Color

When you’re choosing your colors you must consider how you want your company to be perceived.

Font choice

Font choice is part of your signature. Think about the Coca Cola logo. Simple right? Just the words in script font white over red.
